HAMPTON — The Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, 5k run, Kids Kilometer (1k) and Craft Brew Fest will return on Oct. 5-7.
Starting at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, this half marathon will take participants through 13.1 miles of the best of Hampton.
The course will take participants through the historic downtown, its surrounding neighborhoods set beside the Chesapeake Bay and the Hampton Roads Harbor.
There will be live entertainment, cheer zones, candy stops, and other surprises along the way for the runners.
Runner’s World named The Neighborhood Harvest Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon presented by Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Orthopedics a must-run half marathon.
The event is known to draw more than 5,000 walkers and runners and their families, according to a news release from the city.
Try the Shell Yeah Challenge – Run the 5k on Saturday and the half marathon on Sunday.
