NEWPORT NEWS — Police here are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman they say robbed a 7-Eleven Friday morning.
Authorities released surveillance footage of the incident.
Officers were dispatched to the store 700 block of J. Clyde Morris Boulevard at around 5:43 a.m.
Police said a white woman entered the store, “implied she had a handgun and left the store with an unknown amount of money.”
There were no injuries reported.
The woman has blonde hair and wore an orange hooded sweatshirt, black pants and no shoes, police said.
