Free museum visits will be available at these locations on Saturday

The Smithsonian’s annual Museum Day will be Saturday.

Each year, participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.

This year there will be more than 1,500 museums offering free admission across the country, according to the Smithsonian’s website.

The Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people on Saturday.

Virginia Beach

• Francis Land House
• Thoroughgood House
• Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art

Norfolk

• Hermitage Museum & Gardens
