HAMPTON — This month’s bike ride will be replaced by the second annual Words on Wheels bicycle tour that got rained out earlier this year.
Sponsored by Sly Clyde Ciderworks, Words on Wheels will be on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
During Words on Wheels, teams of riders collect letters from participating businesses, then return to play words on oversized boards to see who can build a word with the highest point value, according to a news release from the city.
No registration is required and riders of all ages and skill levels are invited.
Riders leave from Sly Clyde, 207 East Mellen St., and tour downtown Hampton, Phoebus and Fort Monroe.
