HAMPTON — The city’s planning commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday in City Council Chambers at City Hall, 22 Lincoln St.
On the agenda are two public hearings on amending the city’s zoning ordinances and adopting the state’s definition of a pharmaceutical processor.
The amendments would add pharmaceutical processor to the city’s “use table” and permit processors in specified areas.
This is important because according to a news release from the city, a medical marijuana dispensary has expressed interest in a Hampton location.
City Council has asked for a review of the city’s zoning regulations.
Any action taken by the commission has to get final approval from City Council.
Residents can attend one of the two public hearings to voice comments and concerns about the medical marijuana dispensary.
