NEWPORT NEWS — The Summer Reading Program sponsored by the city’s public library is wrapping up with two free celebrations across the city.

The Summer Reading Luau will be on July 26 at 2 p.m. at Grissom Library.

Then, on July 31, at 3 p.m., all are welcome to the Summer Reading Celebration at Pearl Bailey Library.

Both events are sponsored by the Friends of the Newport News Public Library.
