Craft beer lovers throughout Hampton Roads will gather on Aug. 25 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Neptune’s Park on 31st Street and Atlantic in Virginia Beach for the 4th Annual Coastal Craft Beer Festival.
Highlighting national, regional and especially local Virginia beers and cast ales, the festival will feature more than 65 beers from 30 breweries, along with live music from Jackass Flats and the Brandon Bower Band.
The number of tickets sold are limited to keep lines short and sips long.
A commemorative beer-tasting glass and beer-tasting throughout the day are included in admission. Advanced tickets are $35 and may be purchased until Aug. 19 (or until pre-sale allotment has been reached). Tickets purchased the week of the event will be $40 until they sell out, according to a news release from Neptune Festival organizers.
Ticket holders must be 21 years or older to participate in the event. Due to space constraints in Neptune’s Park at 31st Street, the Neptune Festival cannot allow pets, personal tents, tables or large picnic spreads in the park.
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. All bags and coolers will be inspected at the gate, organizers said.
