NEWPORT NEWS — Mariners’ Museum is bringing the fun directly to residents this weekend.
The museum is hosting Celebrate the Park from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday on its front lawn at 100 Museum Drive.
The day of fun is free and open to the public.
Guests will be treated to arts and crafts, family games, interactive environmental displays and demonstrations, according to the event’s webpage.
Food trucks will be onsite and visitors can fill out a park survey at the event for a free pair of sunglasses, while supplies last.
