Busch Gardens offers glimpses of European countries to park guests every day, but an upcoming festival will share delicacies from around the world.
Busch Gardens will sell food and drinks not normally served in the park through its annual Food and Wine Festival this summer, park officials said.
The event will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between May 21 and July 1. Memorial Day is included in the festival.
“This annual festival is quickly establishing Busch Gardens Williamsburg as a leading culinary destination in the region,” said culinary operations Vice President Franz Kitenko. “We can’t wait to share the delicious creations our team has cooked up.”
Sixteen kiosks featuring speciality foods will be spread around the park during the event.
This year’s festival will offer new menu options from Cuba, Brazil, Japan and South Korea. Regions and countries whose culinary delights will return in 2018 include the American Southwest, France, the Caribbean, Ireland, Virginia, Hawaii, India, Spain, the Mediterranean and Italy.
A complete list of kiosk locations and food and drink menus can be found on Busch Gardens’ website.
The Royal Palace Theater will also present three concerts during the festival.
Country music artist and “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery will play June 9, Grammy-nominated country star Hunter Hayes will take the stage June 16, and Andy Grammer will perform June 30.
Guests can also enjoy beverage tastings, wine river cruises and demonstrations from chefs.
The festival is included in park admission. Busch Gardens also offers food and drink packages at reduced prices.
