There’s a community health fair on Sunday, and it’s free

NEWPORT NEWS — There’s a free Community Health Fair at Todd Stadium on Sunday, April 29 from noon-5 p.m.

The fair is a joint effort by Newport News Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Virginia Department of Health and the American Red Cross.

There will be free medical and dental evaluations, in addition to free cholesterol and glucose screenings.

Also available will be healthy food samples, massages, tips on safety from the Newport News Fire Department, and more.

Among the schedule activities are a bounce house, arts and crafts, corn hole and balloons.
