The show was snowed out in January, but it’s coming back

HAMPTON — The H.M. Johnson Band, which was snowed out of its January date at the Hampton History Museum, will play there Wednesday, April 18 from 6-8 p.m. It’s part of the Front Porch Music Series.

Museum members get in free, the fee is $5 for non-members.

The band, which hails from Hampton Roads, has been together for nearly 20 years. The members are Henry M. Johnson, vocals and guitar; Carlton Lillard, vocals and bass, keyboard; and Brian Barnes, vocals and drums.

The band performs a variety of music, including R&B, funk, pop, jump, swing, soul, beach, reggae, blues, jazz and rock-and-roll.
