WILLIAMSBURG — No one was injured when a small jet attempting to land at Newport News -Williamsburg Airport skidded off the runway Wednesday, Nov. 30, according to Virginia State Police.
The incident was called in at approximately 8:05 a.m. All three occupants of the craft were uninjured and minimal damage occurred, police said.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) were notified, police said. The investigation has been handed over to NTSB.
