WCAC Artisan Extravaganza Registration Still Open

Courtasy of the Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center

WILLIAMSBURG — There is still time to register for The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center’s upcoming Artisan Extravaganza slated for July 13 through August 5.

Works may be functional or strictly decorative, including pottery, jewelry, glass, wood, metal, sculpture, clothing, other textiles, decorative painting, household items, garden items, and furniture.

There are no fees to enter show and it is open to all artists who wish to participate. All works must be original, family-friendly, and conceived and executed solely by the artisan — works will not be accepted if done with commercial molds or kits.

Up to 12 pieces may be submitted for the show. If accepted, participants will need to fill out an inventory form for their pieces and include an inventory number with their initials.

Those artists interested should contact Michael Jones, Art Center Manager, at 757-229-4949 or visitwcac@gmail.com as soon as possible. Entries will be confirmed as room allows. Artists should submit their inventory form by Friday, July 8, and drop off artwork/s on Saturday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to noon.
