YORK COUNTY — The York-Poquoson General District Court and Clerk’s Office will remain closed on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week (Jan. 11-12).
According to a post on the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (YPSO)’s Facebook page, all cases set for both days will be continued to another day as set by the Clerk’s office.
Video hearings that were scheduled for the Tuesday morning will more than likely take place on the next working day.

This follows the sudden closure of the court on Monday, Jan. 10, which was also announced via the YPSO Facebook page on Sunday, Jan. 9.
The courts did not respond to WYDaily’s request for information regarding the reason for the sudden closures.
