JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County (JCC) government is holding a Litter and Recycling Expo on Saturday, Nov. 20.

This drive-thru expo will allow county residents to bring items such as furniture, shoes and clothing for donation, papers for shredding, as well as tires, film and plastic bags for recycling. In addition, JCC has partnered with O-I Glass to collect glass items for recycling in the county’s new purple bins.

The glass collected during the event will be taken directly to O-I’s glass plant in Toano. To learn more about this program, please click here to learn more from JCC’s website.
