YORK COUNTY — With colder temperatures quickly moving into the area, York County has announced that its parks will now keep winter hours.
Beginning this month, Chisman Creek Park, located at 1314 Wolf Trap Rd., McReynolds Athletic Complex, located at 412 Sports Way, and Wolf Trap Park, located at 1009 Wolf Trap Road, will keep hours form 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. New Quarter Park, located at 1000 Lakeshead Drive, will open 10 a.m. until dusk on Fridays and 8 a.m. to dusk on weekends.
Additionally, the dockmaster’s office, piers, and dockside restrooms at Riverwalk Landing located at the Yorktown riverfront are closed for the season. While water and other utilities to the piers have been turned off, docking is still available.
