WILLIAMSBURG — CultureFix has announced that Williamsburg native, Canaan Smith, will perform on Oct. 24 during its Scrumptious event.
Smith, a Country singer, was the first artists to sign to Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line’s record label, Round Here Records. Smith is noted for his infectious and positive tracks including, “Beer Drinkin’ Weather,” “Country Boy Things,” “Life Ain’t Fair,” and “Pour Decisions.” He is back on the airwaves with his new single, “Colder Thank You.”
He has also seen success, collaborating with the likes of Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, Florida Georgia Line, and Mason Ramsey. Smith’s 2014 co-written single, “Love You Like That,” was Platinum-certified on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and his other song, “Hole in a Bottle,” was a Top 25 hit.
Smith will play during CultureFix’s Scrumptious event on Oct. 24 as part of an outdoor concert on the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, which lasts from 3-6 p.m. Opening acts include country artists John St. Clair and Cody Christian.
