YORKTOWN — A new statue of an American Revolutionary War figure will be added to the banks of the York River.
On Monday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m., The American Friends of Lafayette, along with les Amis de
Rochambeau and the National Park Service, will unveil a statue of Rochambeau on the Yorktown waterfront.
Rochambeau will join the statues of General Washington, Admiral de Grasse, and General Lafayette.
Rochambeau is the latest and final piece of the statues after the Lafayette statue was unveiled in 2017.
The statue will be raised and unveiled at 323 Water St. in Yorktown, and the ceremony is open to the public.
