GLOUCESTER — Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has put out a call seeking local resident volunteers to serve on its various local committees.

Vacancies for committees in which county residents can volunteer their time to participate in include:

  • Board of Zoning Appeals
  • Board of Equalization

Residents who wish to volunteer as part of the Board of Equalization will need to have experience in commercial/residential real estate appraisal, or in the building, developing, legal, or financial professions.

Those interested in serving the community and becoming involved with the county’s government can submit information through the Gloucester County Volunteer Board Bank. This will provide the members of the Board of Supervisors information as to the volunteer’s name, background and area of interest.

For more information on this or other programs through Gloucester County, visit its website or call the County’s Community Engagement and Public Information office at (804) 693-5730.
