WILLIAMSBURG — On Wednesday, Sept. 29, the City of Williamsburg announced that it is seeking the community’s input for a reapplication to be designated a bicycle-friendly community.
The reapplication would designate the city as a bicycle-friendly community through the League of American Bicyclists (LAB). Williamsburg was first designated as such in 2013, receiving it again in 2017. The period for designation is four years.
As part of the application process, the City of Williamsburg is asking for the community’s input to help better understand the experiences of local cyclists. Residents can provide input through October 11 via an online survey.
