POQUOSON — The organizers for the annual Poquoson Seafood Festival announced that this year’s event will be rescheduled due to the rise in COVID-19 infections in the region.
A press release from the organizers states, “The safety of its citizens, staff and festival attendees is the City of Poquoson’s primary focus in making this decision. The City looks forward to hosting attendees next year for the commemoration of this special event which has become a staple of the Fall Season in Hampton Roads.”
This year’s event, which would have marked the 40th anniversary of the popular festival, has been rescheduled for October 2022.
