Williamsburg — Here for the Girls (H4TG) will be celebrating their 15-year anniversary as a nonprofit organization at its Pink Carpet Gala on Sept. 25 at the Williamsburg Lodge.
H4TG is a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of young women affected by breast cancer. The Pink Carpet Gala is their largest fundraising event and will include a silent auction, a raffle, a paddle raise, and live entertainment.
This year’s Gala event will be a hybrid event that will allow both in-person as well as virtual guests.
“As a breast health organization, the health and safety of all is our greatest priority,” says H4TG Executive Director Chris Schwab. “Given the ever-changing nature of the pandemic, we have added additional safety measures as well as a virtual participation option so guests can choose how they would like to participate.”
In addition to making the Gala a hybrid event, H4TG will also be mandating masks for all guests, staff, and volunteers. The room capacity for in-person attendees will also be reduced to below 50% capacity. In-person guests will be allowed to build their own tables at various capacities and there will be physical distancing throughout the event.
According to their official website, H4TG has already raised “$20.7K.” This amount will be updated based on the activity from GalaBid on the night of the Gala event.
