STATEWIDE — The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) will be hosting a free webinar for Virginia veterans and their families on Friday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. to provide them with information about subjects related to brain health awareness.
This webinar will include three presentations that will span over three topics regarding brain health, memory screenings, and veteran benefits.
Jennifer Reeder, director of educational and social services at AFA, will be presenting “The Importance of Brain Health & Early Detection of Alzheimer’s Disease.”
Donna de Levante Raphael, director of National Memory Screening Program at AFA, will also be presenting “Facts & Figures of Veterans & Alzheimer’s & the Importance of Memory Screening”.
Daphne Eaton, resource specialist/family and caregiver support coordinator, will be presenting “Services & Support for Virginia Veterans.”
Participants of the webinar will be able to ask any questions they may have during the online event.
