GLOUCESTER — The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will move the meeting scheduled for Sept. 7 to larger venue due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases.
According to a Sept. 3 press release from the County, the meeting, which usually takes place in the Colonial Courthouse, 6504 Main St. in Gloucester, will now take place in the auditorium at the Thomas Calhoun Walker Education Center, 6099 T C Walker Road. This location will allow for the citizens in attendance to socially distance.
For those citizens in at risk categories or who may feel uncomfortable attending in person meetings, comments for the public hearings and citizen comment period may be submitted through alternate methods. for more information, checkout the County’s website. or call the administration office, (804) 693-4042.
The meeting will be broadcast live on the county cable access channel 48 and online on the county meeting portal.
