NEWPORT NEWS — The Newport News Police Department (NNPD) called out its SWAT team for a tactical incident in the 700 block of Thimble Shoals Boulevard. The incident happened around 11:30 today and was in reference to a domestic incident, according to a Newport News PD press release.
Officers are trying to locate an adult male with several warrants out in multiple jurisdictions. The subject is not reported to be in the City Center area.
