JAMES CITY COUNTY — James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is investigating multiple incidents of theft from unlocked cars.
According to a press release from JCCPD, the thefts took place during the overnight hours of Aug. 13 and 14 in several neighborhoods in the County, including Powhatan Crossing, The Meadows, First Colony, Westray Downs, Fernbrook, Brandon Woods, Indigo Terrace and Brookhaven neighborhoods as well as on Indigo Dam Road and Wood Violet Lane.
Items stolen include purses, wallets, electronics, car keys and cash. Multiple videos have been collected from residents in those areas that captured the subjects. To view them, go to the JCCPD website.
