Colonial Williamsburg Requiring Face Coverings Indoors

WILLIAMSBURG — The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (CWF) has announced new face covering policies for anyone who are on the foundation’s properties.

Starting Wednesday, Sept. 1, all guests, employees, volunteers and on-site contractors will be required to wear face coverings while inside buildings and while on board Colonial Williamsburg shuttle buses.

Additionally, the Foundation is encouraging guests, employees, volunteers and on-site contractors to wear facial coverings outdoors (though are not required to do so).

It is important to note that this requirement is in place, regardless of a person’s vaccination status.
