JAMES CITY COUNTY — Michael Trevelino, a Florida resident, has been sentenced in the 2013 aggravated sexual battery of two James City County minors under the age of 13.
In 2020, Trevelino was extradited from Florida to James City County, where he was charged for “inappropriately touching” two minors who were allegedly related to him. Authorities received a complaint from the children’s mother in 2019 regarding the assaults.

According to online judiciary records, Trevelino pled guilty to the assaults on May 24, 2021.
On Aug. 25, he was sentenced to twenty years in penitentiary per case, with fifteen years per case suspended, and twenty years probation per case.
