YORK COUNTY — York County Tourism Development has been awarded $20,000 from the Virginia Tourism Corporation’s (VTC) Recovery Marketing Leverage Program (RMLP).

The RMLP is an initiative designed to help local and regional tourism entities bring in more visitors through tourism marketing partnerships.

York County Tourism Development will use the grant funds to increase awareness and visitation to the area through advertising programs with the VTC.

This includes online digital and social media marketing campaigns.

VTC offers these grant funds as a response to COVID-19’s significant impact on tourism and to encourage more economic activity and travel across the Commonwealth.
