DEVELOPING: JCC Police Still Looking for Suspects in Busch Gardens Fight

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) are asking the public’s assistance in identifying three women suspected in an assault that took place at Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) on Aug. 8.

According to an Aug. 19 release from the James City County Police Department (JCCPD), officers received a call on Aug. 8 regarding a fight around 7:50 p.m. Three unidentified women were involved in the altercation and fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.

Two victims in the assault remained on scene and were treated for minor injuries. Stephanie Williams, spokesperson for JCCPD, said on Aug. 10 that a third victim was taken to the hospital.

On Aug. 10, BGW’s Public Relations Manager Matthew Klepeisz told WYDaily, “This behavior is not tolerated and does not align with the experience we want guests to have while visiting our park.”
