UPDATE: Drink Beer to Help Pups At Yorktown Restaurant on Saturday, Aug. 28

YORKTOWN — Local brewery, The Virginia Beer Company (VBC) will host a Pints and Pups event this Saturday, Aug. 28, at the County Grill & Smokehouse on George Washington Memorial Highway in Yorktown.

The event, which is a benefit for the Heritage Humane Society (HHS), will run from noon to 4 p.m.

Adoptable dogs from HHS will be on site from 2-4 p.m. The shelter will also have an information table and merchandise.

VBC will raffle off prizes. There will also be beer and cocktail specials throughout the afternoon. VBC will offer $1 off any pint of beer for anyone (21+ years old) who donates pet supplies to HHS. Click here to see the shelter’s supply wish list.

The public is welcomed to bring their leashed canines to the event. There will be pools set up to help keep them cool.
