JAMES CITY COUNTY — A 22-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a car.
On Monday, July 26 at approximately 7 p.m., James City County Police Department (JCCPD) and the James City County Fire Department responded to a vehicle/pedestrian crash on Centerville Road in the area of Fox Hill Road.
22-year-old Kweanna Daniels was in the roadway when the vehicle struck her. She was transported to Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
The crash still remains under investigation, but JCCPD say that no charges related to the crash are expected.
