Teens Can Earn Volunteer Hours Through York County Public Library

YORK COUNTY — Middle or high school students searching for volunteer hours have a new opportunity. 

The York County Public Library (YCPL) is looking for new members to join its Teen Advisory Board.

The Teen Advisory Board allows middle and high schoolers to have a hand in library programming for teens, develop communication and leadership skills and earn volunteer service hours.

Applicants must be a middle or high school student, have a YCPL card, are able to attend monthly meetings and be enthusiastic about libraries. 

Those interested should fill out the application.
