YORK COUNTY — On Saturday, July 24, York County Parks and Recreation will hold a free screening as part of its Movies in the Park program.

This weekend’s film is the 2020 Disney Pixar film, “Onward,” which tells the story of teen elf brothers who go on a magical journey in order to spend one last day with their late father.

The film will be screened at McReynolds Athletic Complex, located at 412 Sports Way in Yorktown. Attendees are asked to bring their own blankets or chairs for seating and the movie will begin at sunset. Concessions will be available.

While in attendance, be sure to drop by the table for the York County Head Start Program to receive a free popcorn and learn more about the county’s free preschool program.
