WILLIAMSBURG — Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) has announced that reservations are no longer required to visit the park.

Guests can now show up to the park without reserving their spots ahead of time.

Capacity restrictions at the park have also been lifted in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Gov. Northam’s orders back in May.

Water Country USA will also no longer require reservations.

Matthew Klepeisz, BGW’s Public Relations Manager, said that the change gives guests the opportunity to visit as frequently and easily as possible.

While some guests have expressed concern over the now increased capacity at the park, particularly with the recent data regarding the COVID-19 Delta variant, Klepeisz said that BGW will still follow health and safety guidelines.

“The safety of our guests and employees is our top priority, and we are adhering to the guidelines set forth by the CDC and Governor of Virginia,” Klepeisz said.
