YORK COUNTY — The York County School Division (YCSD) is seeking input from the school community on how to use COVID-19 relief funds.

YCSD is eligible for the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 – Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III) funding.

The funding is being made available to school systems to address the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on learning and students’ academic, emotional and mental health needs.

School district that are eligible for the funding must reserve at least 20% of the relief money to address the impact of unfinished learning time.

YCSD is asking division stakeholders, including students, employees and community members, to complete a survey by Thursday, July 15 that will help develop a plan to best utilize these resources.
