JAMES CITY COUNTY — A candidate for the upcoming Williamsburg-James City County School Board election is out of the race due to an untimely death.
Vanita R. Overby, 55, passed away on July 5, 2021, according to her obituary, released on July 13 by the Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home in Hampton.
