YORK COUNTY — In partnership with the cities of Williamsburg and Poquoson, York County is launching Phase 2 of the COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program, which offers up to $15,000 to small businesses.
Businesses that had 20 or fewer employees during the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply for this grant.
The program is designed to reimburse small businesses for up to six months of rent or mortgage payments that were made after March 13, 2020.
The second phase of the grant program is funded by a Community Development Block Grant through the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development.
Previous grant recipients are able to apply for additional funding.
Applicants must hold a current York County business license and are not a corporately-owned national chain.
