Events at Heritage Humane This Saturday

WILLIAMSBURG — Heritage Humane Society (HHS) will have three benefit events this Saturday, June 26.

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Liz Moore and Associates will be holding a Pet Portrait Fundraiser a the shelter, located at 430 Waller Mill Rd. in Williamsburg. The funds raised will benefit the HHS expansion project. All pets are welcome with a minimum donation of $25. There will also be a prize raffle. To book your time slot, click here.

Also starting at 12 p.m., Billsburg Brewery, 2054 Jamestown Rd., will be hosting a Fill Our Rescue Wagon event. The event, which is part of the brewery’s “Love is Love” event, will have adoptable dogs on location, merchandise to purchase as well as information as to how guests can support HHS. The event will also feature food trucks, vendors, live music, and tie dye making. Billsburg Brewery will donate $1 for every beer sold will be donated to HHS. Additionally, guests are asked to bring items from the shelter’s supply list. Anyone who brings an item that is $6 or more will receive a free beer courtesy of Billsburg Brewery. Organized by Muddy Marley’s Dog Wash, a free outdoor movie will be shown at Williamsburg Crossing Shopping Center, 5235 John Tyler Hwy., from 8:45 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Popcorn and other refreshments sold will benefit HHS. “The Secret Life of Pets 2” will be screened. Leashed dogs are welcome and HHS will be onsite with adoptable dogs.
