WILLIAMSBURG — There may be something coming to Busch Gardens (BGW): a new building.
In a packet submitted to the James City County Planning Commission, BGW’s parent company, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, LLC, has applied for a special use permit to construct a new building on its property.
The permit calls for a 32,500 sq. ft. metal framed building to be used for special events as well as warehouse space. It will be situated just south of the site where the park’s defunct roller coaster, Drachen Fire, used to stand.
