WILLIAMSBURG — Young history enthusiasts have a summer camp just for them this year.
Held right inside the Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg, the Hands-On History Summer Camp will offer campers activities, games and crafts full of history.
Taught by award-winning instructors, camp activities will include hat trimming, Colonial dancing, Colonial-era games, music and songs, basket making, chocolate making, animal interaction, learning about Colonial architecture and much more.
The camp is for ages 8-13.
The camp will be split up into four sessions: Session 1 from June 28 – July 2 (ages 8-10), Session 2 from July 5 – July 9 (ages 11-13), Session 3 from July 12 – July 16 (ages 8-10), and Session 4 from July 26 – July 30 (ages 11-13).
The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Tuition is $325 per week.
