
HISTORIC TRIANGLE — In-person voting for the Democratic Party Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 8.
The party will choose nominees to run for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general in the upcoming November general election. The Virginia Republican Party picked its nominees during a convention held on May 8.
Virginia does not register voters by party, so any qualified registered voter can take part in this primary.
Polling sites across the historic triangle will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. To register to vote, check your registration status or to find your polling place go to the Virginia Department of Elections website.
