(WYDaily Media)

UPDATE: All lanes of traffic have reopened.

JAMES CITY COUNTY — A multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Pocahontas Trail and Green Mount Parkway in James City County resulted the closure of all lanes of travel, Stephanie Williams Ortery, the James City County Police Public Information Officer.

James City County Police and Fire departments recieved the call around 6:30 p.m. on Memorial Day (May 31) after a Chrysler 200 sedan, traveling on Pocahontas Trail westbound towards Williamsburg, swerved into the oncoming traffic lane in front of a tractor trailer.

The Chrysler glanced off the big rig, causing a tire to pop, and then collide with a Nissan Sentra and a Ford Mustang.

Only minor injuries were reported with no one was expected to be taken to the hospital, Williams said.

As of 7 p.m., eastbound lanes are open. West bound is still closed.
