Get ready for the third annual Capital Color Ride

JAMES CITY COUNTY — Join James City County Parks & Recreation in the third annual Capital Color Ride event, set for Sunday, June 6.

The route will include a 15-mile stretch along the Virginia Capital Trail. The ride will go from the Chickahominy Riverfront Park, to the James City County Marina, and back to the riverfront park. Full route and color stop information will be available closer to the race date.

Light refreshments, t-shirt, and race bibs are included in rider registration.

Three start times are available at 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.to encourage social distance and staggered volume of traffic at the color stops along the way. be sure to select a stage during registration as spaces are limited to 75 participants per stage.

Registration is open for ages six and up. The fee is $15 and registration ends on June 2, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Registration for ages five and younger is free and ends June 1, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
