WILLIAMSBURG — After canceling its local stop last year due to COVID-19, “Antiques Roadshow” is finally headed to Williamsburg for its 2021 Appraisal Contest.

The popular PBS series will film in Colonial Williamsburg on Tuesday, Sept. 28 as one of five locations for their upcoming 26th season, which will air on PBS in 2022.

Production will look a little different this year, with filming modified to focus on health and safety.

All production for “Roadshow” Season 26 will be on closed sets, with only production teams, appraisers and invited appraisal guests permitted.

Producers will select up to 130 entries for filming at each location.

Selected guests will be notified about four weeks prior to the filming date.

The deadline for entries is June 7.
