WILLIAMSBURG — This month, Good Shot Judy fans will be able to enjoy an evening of big band music, while supporting outdoor and environmental education.

The Jamestown 4-H Educational Center is hosting a Good Shot Judy benefit concert on Friday, May 21 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The concert will benefit the Jamestown 4-H Educational Center, a non-profit organization that provides recreational and educational opportunities for youth and adults through 4-H camping, environmental education and leadership training.

All proceeds from the concert will go toward the Center’s scholarship fund that allows children to attend 4-H camp in the summer.

“We never turn a child away from camp,” Community Outreach Director, Stephanie Smith, said. “Some families can’t afford to send their child to camp, so this helps our scholarship fund.”

The outdoor event will be held at the Center, located at 3751 4-H Club Road

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy food, drinks and live music, all with a backdrop of the James River.

Good Shot Judy will perform songs by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, the contemporary stylings of artists such as Michael Bublé and Harry Connick, Jr., and Latin Dance big band-style music.

Food and drinks from NOSH Modern Mobile Bistro and Virginia Beer Company will also be on deck that evening.

Tickets are $44.65 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. There are limited tickets available.
