WILLIAMSBURG — The Winter Blues Jazz Fest is back for its seventh year with nine music events.
After being postponed back in January, the four-day festival is coming to downtown Williamsburg June 24 through June 27. Hosted by CultureFix, a local non-profit organization, the Winter Blues Jazz Fest will bring a weekend full of jazz and blues performances.
The festival kicks off Thursday, June 24 from 7pm-9pm, with a performance from the Phirocious Swing Orchestra.
Friday will bring Mixology & Music, which will feature a mixology cocktail sampling and a live performance from King Trombone and Dixieland Band from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Latin Jazz Conspiracy will then play a late night performance 9:30 to 12 p.m.
Saturday’s lineup will feature live blues music on two stages, with No BS! Brass at one end and Anthony Rosano at the other. Stephanie Nakasian and her band, with a special guest, will perform Saturday night under the large tent.
Their free afternoon Festival Chill Out will be back under the large tent on Sunday, along with a Sunday brunch.
The festival will be held on the lawn of the Art Museum of Colonial Williamsburg lawn, 301 S Nassau St.
