Williamsburg Drug Co. offers pop-up and drive-through vaccines

WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg Drug Company is offering first and second doses of Moderna and Pfitzer vaccines with no appointments or registration needed. 

The full-service pharmacy is offering the vaccine clinics at both locations, 240 McClaws Circle #147 and 1310 Jamestown Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, and  9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. 

Williamsburg Drug Company owner, T.W. Taylor, said that the company has held pop-up, walk up, and drive thru vaccine clinics using its “C” class recreational vehicle at areas including CrossWalk Church, Grove Outreach, Peninsula Rescue Mission, Powhatan Apartments, Station at Norge Apartments, and other parking lot locations. 

Williamsburg Drug Company is currently working on scheduling dates to hold clinics at Busch Gardens, and in Surry County, WJCC and York County. They will return to do second doses at both Williamsburg Baptist and First Baptist on Saturday, May 8. 

Taylor said that their goal is to “help every part of our community by going to home bound patients’ homes.”
