The new Williamsburg location will be a partner store to two Southside Hampton Roads locations in Norfolk and East Beach (Ocean View). The three stores are owned by husband and wife team, Kevin and Amy Oliver. Additionally, the owners have partnered with Broad Street Realty in this new venture.
“We are so excited to partner with Pedego Electric Bikes on a new location here in Midtown Row,” said Michael Jacoby, Broad Street Realty CEO. “With the new multi-use trail along the project and the many opportunities for bicycling throughout Williamsburg, this will be the perfect place for them.”
Pedego will offer sales, rentals, accessories and safety wear. Additionally, the store will also offer service for the company’s electric bikes. Pedego’s Williamsburg location will also be an authorized dealer for Onewheel Boards & Accessories, Thule Racks & Trailers, Hollywood Racks, Thousand Helmets, Sena Bluetooth Helmets, Tannus Armour Tire Liners and Lines Bikes of Venice.
Pedego will offer tours around Colonial Williamsburg, the campus of the College of William & Mary, Virginia Capital Trail, and the Colonial Parkway. Additionally, the store operators are planning a ride from Williamsburg to Richmond later this year.
“We are especially excited because Williamsburg and surrounding areas have so many beautiful riding areas and there are so many fascinating scenic rides that are possible,” said Amy Oliver.
Midtown Row is Williamsburg’s newest city center. Slated for delivery later this year, Midtown Row will have four buildings with more than 60,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground level and 240 apartments above that will house over 600 residents.
