William & Mary Athletics is asking its players, coaches, fans and alumni to be all-in – and has launched a fundraising 5k to help reach that goal.
William & Mary Athletics announced the inaugural ALL IN Tribe Virtual 5K and Virginia529 Fun Run presented by Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia, according to a press release from the department. Event proceeds will benefit the Tribe Athletics All-In fundraising campaign.
The event will be held May 2-9, and virtual runs can completed anywhere and at any point during that timeframe.
Runners can sign up here and registration must be completed by Friday, April 23.
Those who are interested have two choices when they sign up. They can select the $50 Virtual 5k w/ Participant kit, which includes ALL IN t-shirt, a Tribe sticker, water bottle, sunglasses, race bib, and print-at-home finisher’s certificate. The $15 5k w/ Digital Swag option includes the race bib and finisher’s certificate.
Children 12 and under can sign up for free.
The All-In fundraising campaign has a stated goal of raising $55 million for the university’s athletic department.
